“My goal is to inspire a love for movement that effortlessly flows into your daily life.”

Founder
I’ve spent most of my 59 years immersed in the world of movement. My journey began with ballet as a young girl and expanded into modern and jazz dance in my teenage years, where I developed a deep respect for both the art and discipline of the human body in motion. Around the same time, I was introduced to the early fitness movement, and I became fascinated by its ability to elevate cardiovascular health while creating a sense of vitality and euphoria.
What I noticed, however, was a gap—between artistry and structure, sensation and understanding.
Drawing from my background in dance and fitness, I developed a method that blends the most effective and accessible elements of both. My approach emphasizes clarity, precision, and an understanding of internal body mechanics, empowering students to engage their muscles deeply and move from the inside out. My goal has always been to help people not only move, but understand how and why movement works.
To ground this work in science, I earned a graduate degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from Columbia University, where I studied biomechanics, cellular physiology, and human performance, conducted hands-on research, and immersed myself in scholarly research. This experience allowed me to fully substantiate the scientific principles behind my methodology.
My work has been featured in publications including Glamour, Elle, and Fitness. I was a contributing writer for FIT magazine and developed exercise videos for Motown and Reebok. Over the years, I’ve trained individuals of all ages and abilities—from elite performers to those with significant physical limitations. I also owned and operated the Energy Movement Center in the lower Hudson Valley and designed and led fitness programs for the Eileen Fisher corporate headquarters.
My work is the culmination of a lifelong integration of art, science, and effective bodywork—an approach rooted in intelligence, compassion, and respect for the body’s innate capacity to heal, strengthen, and thrive.
